A bulk domain appraisal tool values a list of names in one pass instead of one name at a time. In 2026 the realistic choices are EstiBot ($29 to $99 a month for 150 to 5,000 lookups a day), the GoDaddy GoValue API ($99.99 a month for 1,000 valuations a day), Appraise.net's credit plans ($29.99 to $499.99 a month, up to 50,000 names per batch on the top tier) and our Portfolio plan ($149 a month for 1,000 appraisals with written reasoning and comparable sales). GoDaddy's free bulk tool closed in 2021. The right pick depends on whether you are screening thousands of names or pricing a portfolio someone will read line by line.
Value a whole list, with the reasoning behind every price
The Portfolio plan takes a pasted list of names, covers 1,000 appraisals a month and exports each valuation, its reasoning and its comparable sales to CSV. Try one name first with no account.
This comparison is for people who hold or trade names in quantity: an investor with a few hundred domains to reprice, a broker valuing a client's portfolio before a sale, a company cleaning up names it registered over the years and deciding which ones to keep renewing. Prices below were checked on each provider's own pages or in reporting from October 2026.
What is the best bulk domain appraisal tool?
For raw volume, EstiBot and the GoDaddy GoValue API are the cheapest per lookup. For a valuation a buyer, partner or accountant will actually read, a tool that writes out its reasoning and lists comparable sales is worth more per name. Most serious investors end up using one of each: a cheap screen, then a fuller appraisal on the names that survive it.
| Tool | Bulk route | Price | Volume | Per name you get |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EstiBot | Paid plans | $29, $49 or $99 a month | 150, 500 or 5,000 a day | Estimated value, keyword and traffic data |
| GoDaddy GoValue API | API subscription | $99.99 or $499.99 a month | 1,000 or 5,000 a day | A machine learning estimate, capped at $1,000,000+ |
| Appraise.net | Credits, list and batch upload | $29.99 to $499.99 a month; lifetime access $399 | 2 credits per batch appraisal; 120 to 6,000 credits a month | Estimate with supporting data |
| Sedo | Human appraisal, portfolios over 50 names on request | $99 a name | About five business days per report | Written report with comparable sales |
| BoldDomains Portfolio | Pasted list | $149 a month, or $74.50 a month billed yearly | 1,000 a month | Valuation, written reasoning, comparable recorded sales, CSV export |
Dynadot and Atom also offer free appraisals, but neither publishes a priced bulk plan, so they are not in the table.
How much does bulk domain appraisal cost per name?
Between a few cents and $99, depending on how much work goes into each answer. Take a 500 name portfolio as the worked example:
- EstiBot Novice ($29): 150 lookups a day clears 500 names in four days. About 6 cents a name for a month's subscription, less if you keep using it.
- GoDaddy GoValue API Basic ($99.99): 1,000 valuations a day clears the list in one day, but you need to write code or use a tool that calls the API. About 20 cents a name for one month.
- Appraise.net: a batch appraisal costs 2 credits, so 500 names need 1,000 credits. The Enterprise plan ($199.99 a month, 1,700 credits) covers that, about 40 cents a name. The Investor plan's 120 credits a month covers only 60 batch names.
- BoldDomains Portfolio ($149): 1,000 appraisals a month covers 500 names with room to re-run the strongest ones. About 30 cents a name, each with reasoning and comps.
- Sedo human appraisal ($99 a name): $49,500 at list price, which is why Sedo quotes portfolios over 50 names separately. Worth it for a handful of names going into a legal or tax document, never for a whole list.
The cheapest per lookup is not always the cheapest per decision. If the output has to persuade a buyer to pay for 40 names in a package, a column of bare numbers will get questioned one row at a time.
Is there still a GoDaddy bulk appraisal tool?
Not a public one. GoDaddy switched off its free bulk appraisal, which accepted up to 100,000 names at once, on June 8, 2021. Since then, bulk valuation has gone through Premier Services account managers or the paid GoValue API, which launched as a subscription in March 2024. GoDaddy has said the model it rebuilt in August 2026 will reach Domain Academy and Portfolio Manager in phases, where bulk use becomes possible again. Our page on the GoDaddy domain appraisal alternative covers what that rebuild changed for individual names.
Which bulk appraisal fits which job?
Screening drops, auctions and hand registrations
You will throw away 95 percent of the list, so speed and price per lookup win. EstiBot is built for this, with expired and dropping lists on its higher plans. The GoValue API suits investors who already script their workflow.
Repricing your own portfolio before renewal season
You need to know which names justify another year of renewal fees and what buy now price to set on the keepers. A figure with written reasoning helps here, because you are making a keep or drop call on each name, and the comps tell you whether a listing price is realistic. This is the job the Portfolio plan is built for.
Valuing a portfolio for a sale or a partner
The buyer or partner will check your numbers. Give them a CSV with the valuation, the reasons and the comparable sales on each row. If the deal is large, add a human appraisal for the top five names only.
Accounting, tax or legal use
Automated figures rarely carry weight with an auditor or a court. Use a documented human appraisal for the names that matter and keep the bulk export as your working file. Our domain appraisal cost comparison lists the human options and their fees.
What should a bulk appraisal export include?
At minimum: the domain, the value, the date of the appraisal and the tool or model that produced it. Model changes move figures a lot (GoDaddy's August 2026 rebuild raised one investor's batch by a median of more than 11x), so an undated number from last year is not comparable with today's. Better exports add a short reason for each value and the comparable sales used. With that in a spreadsheet you can sort by value, filter by extension and ask questions of the exported data in plain English instead of building pivot tables by hand.
How accurate are bulk domain appraisals?
Good at ranking, unreliable at exact prices. Domain Name Wire reviewed 11 automated appraisal tools in June 2026 and concluded that none predicts sale prices consistently, that GoDaddy tended to price low while Appraise.net tended to price high, and that the useful output is the order in which a tool ranks names. Its overall pick was Atom, because it shows comparables and avoids over-precise figures for high-value names.
Two practical rules follow. First, compare names within one tool rather than mixing figures from different tools. Second, for any name where the price will actually be negotiated, look at the comparable sales, not just the estimate. That is why every result from our appraisal desk shows the recorded sales it leaned on, and says so when our records do not reach that price band or extension.
Do bulk appraisal tools work for .ai and .io names?
Less well than for .com. There are fewer recorded .ai and .io sales, and prices moved fast after 2023, so models trained on older data swing hard; one .ai name in Domain Name Wire's August 2026 test jumped from under $100 to close to $60,000 on GoDaddy's rebuilt model. If your portfolio is mostly .ai, prefer a tool that shows the .ai sales behind each figure, and sanity check the top names against live asking prices in our AI domains for sale catalogue.
Picking one
If you only need to know which of 5,000 names to look at twice, buy a month of EstiBot or call the GoValue API. If you need a price you will defend, for a listing, a counteroffer or a portfolio sale, value the list with reasoning and comps attached. Start by appraising one name free, compare the result with the figure you already have, and move to the Portfolio plan when you are ready to run the whole list. If you are weighing subscriptions, the EstiBot alternative page puts the plan limits side by side.
