What you get back
A price a buyer would pay
A US dollar figure for a sale within two to six months, priced conservatively. It is what we would ask for the same name in our own portfolio.
The reasoning
Two or three sentences on why: the keyword, the extension, how wide the buyer pool is, and what holds the number down.
Comparable recorded sales
The closest sales we hold, with venue and date. When our records do not reach that price band or that extension, the table says so.
Valuing more than a name or two? Broker covers 100 appraisals a month, Portfolio 1,000 with bulk lists and CSV export.

How do I get my domain appraised?
Type the name into the box above. You get a US dollar valuation, the reasoning behind it and the closest recorded sales in a few seconds, with no account for the first name. For a list of names, the Portfolio plan takes a pasted list and exports the results to CSV.
How accurate are domain appraisals?
An automated appraisal is an estimate, not an offer. It is steadiest on plain keyword .com names and least certain on one-of-a-kind brandables and new extensions. That is why every result here shows the comparable sales it leans on, and says so when our records do not reach that price band or extension.
How much does a domain appraisal cost?
Automated estimates are free or part of a subscription, a marketplace report costs about $99, and a documented broker appraisal runs $1,500 to $2,500. Our domain appraisal cost comparison lists each provider, and the EstiBot alternative page compares subscription plans.
Is GoDaddy domain appraisal accurate?
It ranks names well but is less reliable on exact prices, and GoDaddy rebuilt the model in August 2026, which raised many values sharply. Use it as a first screen, then check the comparable sales. Our GoDaddy domain appraisal alternative page explains what changed, and the bulk domain appraisal tools comparison covers valuing a whole list.
Can I use the appraisal to price a name I am buying?
Yes. Value the name before you counter a seller's ask, then compare it with what similar names are listed for in our premium domain price bands. A number backed by named sales is far easier to defend in a negotiation than a guess.
